Welcome to the Old Kirk, Dyke

A Distinctly Different Place To Stay In Scotland

Upon your arrival at this traditional Scottish church, surrounded by fields of golden grain, you will discover a sense of peace and tranquillity. Your eyes will be immediately drawn to the church’s original stained glass window.

Outside the picturesque village of Dyke you enter a place of country-lifestyle as well as a stylish, cosy atmosphere – a distinctly different place to stay in Scotland!

A Special Place To Relax In The Evening

This traditional Scottish Kirk was built in 1856. The conversion is an imaginative blend of traditional materials and modern touches retaining the character without creating a gothic atmosphere.

We are situated just 2 miles from the A96 – far enough away from the noise of any traffic and yet still a perfect base for exploring Moray. Entering the front door you will be overwhelmed by the stylish staircase and the general feeling of space.

IMG_0812We’ll Make You Feel At Home

The house is centrally heated and double glazed and all bedrooms have a television, a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Due to floor level opening windows in every room, our facilities are not suitable for young children.

The rooms are charming with the original stonework which still remains while arched windows extending from the floor catch the sunlight.
